Not at all bad
I really enjoyed this. All you need to do now is make a high score system to store peoples scores.
Also, how about some powerups or something that could speed up or slow down play or halve the size of the purple skears, etc etc.
Hey, that's a funky idea. I'll have a word with the NG folk about that... hopefully thay'll consider my game 'worthy'. :)
Like I've said below, my actionscript is shite, and so I couldn't have those kind of power-ups. Currently, it's basically all done 'movie-style' - Th motion of all the skears, directional indicators and warp indiactors is simply motion-tweened.
And, like I said below, this'd be the kind of stuff I could later do in an Open GL version. Obviously, since it'd have to be downloaded I'd have to host it on my own site, and I probably wouldn't get as much feedback, but it's still something I'd like to do. Hopefully, after this version, I'll have a few fans who'll take the time to play the download.
You should definitely develop this further. Maybe speed up the chickens or add more chickens as the time ticks down or add more weapons you can shoot to pick up. Because of the long time limit it needs something to keep the pace going.
